Time flys by!

I thought I would dedicate this post to my son. Saturday, February the 7th he will turn 1. I remember like it was yesterday. I had a scheduled C-Section. I woke up at 5 o'clock that morning. The night before i was restless. I made sure everything was ready and perfect to go at least five times. I tossed and turned all night. I went to the hospital on maybe 3 hours of sleep. I was so nervous. This was my first scheduled C-Section.I didn't know what to expect. I arrived at the hospital at 5:30 am. I walk in and go straight to triage. The lay me on the bed and hook up the machine that monitors the baby's heartbeat and told me they would be back to prep me for surgery. A few minutes later the doctor came in and talked to me. I signed paperwork and I met the anesthesiologist. I remember he was my favorite. He was really funny and laid back. He told me he would take care of me and make sure i was comfortable throughout the whole thing. About an hour later they came in to take me back. I went into the operating room and explained about the spinal tap. After that was over I remember laying down on the table and he is administering the medicine. 30 minutes later I had my baby. The first question I asked was if he had hair because Zayne was bald when he was born! Everyday since then has been a journey! I wouldn't trade it for the world. From the first time he held his head up by himself, to rolling over for the first time. His first smile, his first laugh. The first time he sat up by himself, to the first time he crawled. His first steps and his first word. It is all treasured memories for me. Those things I will never get to re-live with my baby boy. He is a mommy's boy, which i love! and Now this Saturday I will be celebrating his birth with a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme party! I am super excited about it!
